The Youth Evangelism Celebration (YEC) is an evangelistic and equipping event designed to lead young people to Christ and challenge Believers to greater accomplishments in Christ. Complete with high energy, inspirational youth speakers; top Christian vocalists and musicians; life changing youth testimonies; and sensational multimedia presentations, this event will erupt with the powerful message of salvation, and the dynamic journey of discipleship. The Youth Evangelism Celebration is the greatest place, the greatest “front-door” for bringing lost teenagers, and growing Believers!
YEC is returning to the Rapides Coliseum in Alexandria for 2011. YEC will also serve as the “starting point” for a yearlong emphasis throughout the entire Louisiana Baptist Convention called “Awaken.” It’s a call to revival, a call to repentance, and from the vantage point of YEC, a call to RENEW!
